During our week down south, we went for a little evening stroll through the woods where my boyfriend used to play when he was little. The woods down there are quite different to those I’m used to, so it was nice to explore a little. Due to the slightly warmer climate, there are types of wood that doesn’t grow naturally up here where I live. Like maple, beech, ash and oak for instance. So I find the woods there very interesting, as I always tend to do when I come across a flora slightly different to where I live.
I didn’t quite manage to capture the magic and wonder of the woods in my photos though, although I tried. But they are still a reminder of a nice, warm late summer evening, the two of us together on our little holiday.
