Fog and memories

Walking around the woods of my childhood home, I still know each rock and each tree, and I fondly remember all the hours I spent outside when I was a child.
Here and there, you might also still find the remains of work done by small, eager hands, completely engrossed in a fantasy world..

I think I had a very healthy childhood, spending every spare minute running around outside. I didn’t mind the weather, and I was never bored despite being the only child. The nature taught me to pay attention to details, like those small flowers among the grass, or the oddly shaped branch up above. All those small wonders of nature.
Some day, I hope my own children will go exploring like I did, find their own favourite places and make their own tree huts and dens in those same woods.

It seems to me there’s so much more to the world than the average eye is allowed to see. I believe, if you look hard, there are more wonders in this universe than you could ever have dreamt of.      – Doctor Who S05E10
